New bourbon is first to put American Sign Language on bottle
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – It may be difficult to pinpoint an exact date, but bourbon was born sometime in the 18th century.
There may be a few gaps in its history, but the one thing that’s certain is that over 90% of the world’s bourbon is produced in Kentucky and if it’s not made in the United States, it’s not bourbon.
If you ask the owner of one of Kentucky’s newest straight bourbon brands, everyone should be invited to the party.
The Kentucky Commission on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing says nearly 700,000 Kentuckians, nearly 16%, are deaf or hard of hearing. The Indiana Association of Deaf serves as an advocate for more than 400,000 deaf and hard of hearing Hoosiers.
