Delaware ODHH Feedback Requested on Fire and Carbon Monoxide policies

The Delaware Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ODHH) is pleased to share that draft policies on fire and carbon monoxide are now available for public review.
 
We welcome feedback from community members, stakeholders, and partners to help ensure these policies reflect the needs and perspectives of those we serve. Comments may be submitted during the review period before the policies are finalized.

CERT, or Community Emergency Response Team, is a nationwide program where civilians can learn and use basic skills to better protect themselves, their families, and their community. Some hands-on activities include using a fire extinguisher, applying a tourniquet, and more! Whether you are interested in volunteering locally or simply want to learn these skills for personal use, this training is open to all ages 16+.

• CERT organization
• Medical operations for CERT volunteers
• Disaster psychology
• Terrorism response and prevention
• Fire safety
• Light search and rescue
